Very good, authentic Italian food. Best place I found in San Diego. Italian cooks and waiters...nice atmosphere.

By far the BEST VEGAN PASTA IN CHULA VISTA! We ordered the pesto fettuccine and lasagna and it was so delicious.... Can’t wait to order again!

The Linguine In a Black sauce with seafood was unbelievable. Large portion of pasta, various types of clams, shrimp, tiny octopus, and calamari were so tasty.Ending dinner and enjoying capuchinos and tarimasu was a delicious was to cap a delightful dinner.Honestly my favorite Italian restaurant. I used to go here with my parents every week a couple of years ago and I'm sad we stopped!! I recently visited again a couple of days ago for a birthday dinner.

This is a pretty expensive place for the quality of food. Maybe I just ordered wrong but the sauce was pretty much just red pepper puree and really over powering. Salad was great/fresh. Soup was OK. Service was great. People were great. BEWARE: Parking in this area is a nightmare.

Soooooo good! I had the ossobuco and we had the burrata for sharing. They have excellent service and the bread is magnificent.It’s a popular spot so I recommend getting a reservation.

So so good. Took my best friend who's Italian and she said it's true Italian. It was absolutely delicious, she got Spaghetti Carbonara and I had Fettuccini Carmelina. Both dishes were exquisite, and the service was quick. I'll definitely eat here again.

This is our fourth time here and each time the food has never disappointed. We tried the beef carpaccio and margherita pizza to start. The meat was fresh and the pizza thin. We also had the Osso bucco and lasagna for dinner. All dishes were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Service was good. Can't wait to return

Nice clean classy place!. My wife and I stopped by for a date lunch. There was daily specials posted by the entrance,as well as a set special lunch menu. A la carte options available as well. We did a combinaton of all; being out first time here. For appetizers we split a pear caramalized walnut spinach salad 👍 and Fried calamary. For entrees The wife had the salmon with bow tie pasta with a creamy marinara sauce. 👍I had the sea bass daily special👍 both dishes were on point. We washed them down with Moscato and Beer. Overall we had a great experience and service was great. We will be back for sure..enjoy

Was first time there. It was nice place to eat Italian food. Immediately seated (They only have tables. No booths) timeliness in ordering and having food on table! Food was delicious!

I was planning on going to this particular restaurant sometime. The first time I went was with the Cox. Now I want to sometime come to this restaurant with my cousins Lori, Linda, Lisa and their mother, La La.

Excellent establishment for anyone who loves real Italian food. Additionally they offer a vegan menu which is much better than it probably sounds. Fairly small, intimate interior, clean environment and good hosts. By far the best Italian food in downtown Chula Vista.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Diego since high school. I have been to Italy and this is the only place where the food, atmosphere and service give me fond memories of my trip.

This place has a FULL vegan menu. That's right! Most traditional Italian restaurants won't even have a single vegan item on the menu. This restaurant offers 10+ vegan entrees. I'm working my way through the menu, been twice, and can say the vegan lasagna is incredible. I've also had the pizza which was also great (just make sure to ask them to add their cashew cheese otherwise it's just going to be sauce and toppings.)

Authentic, delicious Italian food in the heart of Chula Vista. Attentive service, great selection, and grade-A ingredients. Seriously, it's really good.

We had a wonderful dinner, wine & dessert here! The Lamb Shank was 5 stars & the bread the BEST I’ve had in a very long time. Unfortunately the Ladies Room was the WORST-stunk of multiple air fresheners & had a full on baby changing table in it. If you’re going to offer that, you have to have a separate Ladies Room! I almost lost my dinner in there! Bad smells do not belong in a great Italian Restaurant!

Great service, amazing food, and atmosphere. They never rush you like most restaurants. Managers seem great to their employees. Must try.

This place is absolutely delicious. I ordered the lasagna and it was just how I like it. Put in the oven with a lot of cheese melted on top and covered in tomato sauce. My sister had the special for the day and thought it was also delicious. I do wish they had more non alcoholic drinks like Italian soda.

First time eating here. Pretty, clean and almost new interior. Loved the flavor of the olive oil. Bruschetta was good but not great. Dense bread. Cheese Ravioli with brandy cream sauce, fettuccine with salmon and baby clams in vodka cream sauce were both good but not great and tasted like the same sauce. Prices seem high for the area. Our waitress was very attentive and the owner served the food. 3/4’s of the restaurant was full. I’ll come back again to try something different. I recommend this place if you’re looking for something above average in this area.

My husband got an Italian plate we can’t remember what it was called but it was delicious, I got a calazone it was so huge very good tasting. The only issue I had is that there is nothing under $20 on the menu. It was clean and pleasant though and the wait staff was nice I would give it a 4.5 rather than a 5 if I could. The sweetest wine I ordered was not very sweet but kind of dry actually.

The food is incredibly delicious and the service is impeccable. When you done here the entire staff makes sure everything is to your liking - not just your individual server. We also got a chance to meet the owner of the establishment, what a wonderful host. There is real passion for Italian cuisine here and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authenticity. Truly an experience.

I was glad about the fact that this fascinating restaurant had served me well today. Also, I loved the idea that they were good and nice enough to accommodate all of my requests for the foods and drinks that I wanted to eat. They got all the specialties that captured my heart. The place was even elegant and prestigious. It was indeed perfect for any special occasions and dates. I’ll come again sooner. Thank you so much. God bless!

Amazing spot! Decently sized just hope that you dont have loud kids there when you go because it is very loud inside. Close and intimate location and AMAZING FOOD.

Delightful Italian trattoria in Chula Vista. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the foods was delicious. We shared the calamari and then my friend had the handmade ricotta ravioli with shrimp in a vodka tomato cream sauce while I had the homemade pappardelle with a lamb shank ragout. Both were delicious! Then we both had zabaglione with strawberries. Highly recommended!

Amazing authentic Italian food. You'll go to 10 Italian restaurants to find one this good. Owner served us and was so helpful.

The service is great with little to no wait times during the lunch time that we went. The food was great but you need to CHECK THE FORKS! My meal fork and my dessert fork were dirty and had food residue on them. I had to ask for another fork 🍽.

Great atmosphere delicious food though a bit pricey it's worth it

If your want a intimate great local Italian dinner experience without hazels of parking pay a visit to this restaurant. Their menu has a great selection of tasty Italian classics and moderns Italian foods, Try the smoked salmon carpaccio with fresh arugula and capers or their version of the steamed Mussels both very good. They have a good selection of pastas and combinations that will make you wish you could eat two entrees. The braised lamb shank is simply delicious. Overall great flavors and prices. We are lucky to have local restaurants that offer great choices that rival those of down town. One of the best restaurants of Southern California! I'm 100% born and raised in Italy so I know what I'm talking about! :) my favorite spaghetti a vongole e cozze (spaghetti with mussels and clams ). YOU MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT!

The place is neat cute italian dine in decor , the taste of the food wasn't amazing or fresh tasting to be honest , but it was decent and edible of course not saying the food was bad just not to my Italian food standards... the service was friendly and attentive I'd return again in a dinner time maybe to give it a second chance it has potential !

Absolutely excellent.I love when it is apparent that people really enjoy what they are doing. The restaurant has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was flawless, food excellent. Could not have been happier with my risotto. So glad we found a new favorite place

Delicious and authentic. Family feel, clean, professional and friendly staff ... even the birthday song from the cook was memorable. Definitely a great choice if you love pasta.

Delicious food ! I ordered the seafood linguini and my husband ordered the pasta el forno and the portobello for appetizers. The pistachio cake was also delicious. Casual atmosphere little bit pricy but delicious.

Tried this spot already with my friend and I am obsessed since then. I love the good atmosphere and fresh dishes and drinks. Keep it up.
